WAKE UP
Mornings can be a struggle for some, but rather than heading straight for the caffeine kick, try something more fruit punch.
Blend this quick smoothie, to get your morning started.
The Set up
Grab a smoothie/blender container and throw the following into it:#
Handful of spinach | 1-2 handfuls |
Avocado | Full |
Strawberries | Cup |
Blueberries | Half a Cup |
Water | Half Pint |
Blend until smooth, adding water in, to suit your taste i.e a thicker or thinner smoothie.
Where & When
Like most on the winter mornings I enjoy a coffee, moving into spring and the summer months I always lean more towards the wake up smoothie.
It gives me the same kick as coffee and also helps hit my fruit and veg intakes.
